Is the OSS tier really free forever?
Yes. Apache 2.0, permanently. The license will not change. The full framework — all guardrails, DurableWorkflowExecutor, MCP Server auto-gen, SKILL.md, SHA-256 audit chain, sandbox mode — is free forever. No seat limits, no workflow limits, no expiry. 4,379 tests passing. Unlike HashiCorp with Terraform, we are not switching to a source-available license.
What's the platform tax situation?
Zero. MeshFlow never takes a percentage of your LLM API spend. You pay Anthropic or OpenAI directly. The only cost is the flat plan fee, which the token optimization savings more than cover on any meaningful workload.
How does the token optimization actually work?
Five levers work together: (1) cache_control on all system prompts — 10% of normal price on cache hits. (2) ModelRouter routes simple tasks to smaller models — saving 40–70% on mixed workloads. (3) ContextCompactor applies sliding-window summarization. (4) RAG token budgets cap knowledge injection. (5) Parallel context dedup sends shared context once across N parallel agents.
Is MeshFlow HIPAA compliant?
MeshFlow's architecture enforces HIPAA technical safeguards at the code level — PII detection, minimum-necessary filtering, and an immutable SHA-256 audit chain on every execution. We are completing our formal SOC 2 Type II audit (target Q4 2026).
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled or downgraded any time. Annual plans are billed upfront with a 20% discount. Downgrading to OSS is always an option — you never lose access to the framework itself.
